I've been reading, with great interest, your three new blogs. They are excellent, as is the all the work you guys produce. You mentioned in the past couple technology blogs some of the toning presets that you use for your black and white prints. However, you also mentioned using an ABW tone for your prints. I was curious if you could share those settings as well.
Thanks so much,

Caution! My settings are for my printers (Epson 4880), my papers (HPR and Harman Glossy FB AL), my inkset (K3), and most importantly my personal preferences as to which brown is the right brown. Yikes. In particular, brown is such a tough thing to nail down. Yellow-brown? Red-brown? Lots of brown or a little bit of brown? You'll need to work all this out for yourself.
Having said that, if you want a place to at least start from, here is a screen capture of our settings. For the glossy paper we use . . .
. . . And for the matte papers we use . . .
And for the Advanced Color Controls . . .
Buy extra paper to play with while you nail down your perfect brown. Have fun!
I never trusted the Epson driver before, I always made the toning in photoshop/aperture. Well I tried it out over the weekend, impressive and beautiful results from R2400 on Harmon Gloss FB AI. (Silly me why didn't I do this before!)
