Six years ago today, coincidentally my birthday, we launched a new feature on our website. It was a novel idea that, as far as we know, no one else had ever done. We started a regular post of audio files on our website that were short discussions of photography and the creative process. We called them the "LensWork Audio Blog."
Six months later, Apple introduced the concept of podcasting. For this reason, I've occasionally bragged that we were podcasting before podcasting was podcasting.
That was 611 podcasts ago for me. And counting.
Isn't it interesting how quickly something that is revolutionary and innovative can become, in our fast-paced technology-driven world, old news? Doesn't it seem today like podcasting has been around, well, forever?
